Lovely facilities and staff. All very clean. The sink wash partly blocked and tv in our room was not working. And all the large photos of marco Pierre white on every single wall was slightly menacing and off putting but otherwise was very enjoyable stay

Clean room. Lovely grounds. Lovely spa. Quite pricey drinks at the bar. Restaurant food was good but some staff somewhat clueless. Breakfast was lovely although we were there the weekend of a wedding and the wedding guests were quite disruptive and perhaps should be kept in a separate area.

Wonderful setting, hotel and grounds were lovely, staff were all helpful, layout of hotel was quite confusing for us as we were located on the 1st floor, this meant we had to go upstairs to go down to floor 1 - took a bit of time to get used to. Room was large and great toiletries provided in rooms. The spa was great, relaxation room perfect. We ate in the steak restaurant and food was exceptional. Considering this was not a city centre hotel was surprised to have to pay for parking, of which there were plenty of spaces when we arrived.

All was generally ok, family room was a bit tight for space and decor was vey dark with poor lighting, felt a spider crawling on me in the night! Our shower was scolding hot, very difficult to turn temp down, so be careful if you have children. The Bar area smelt of drains/eggy but unsure why exactly, this was off putting as you enter the restaurant. Breakfast was nice, good choice of cooked breakfast or continental. It was a long walk to our room, had to use 2 different lifts and walk along numerous corridors but on our last day found a quicker route to car park. Would have appreciated being directed this way initially when we checked in especially with young children and lots of luggage! Spa was ok but gets crowded easily, well maintained changing area but decor is tired and need of a refurb as is most of the hotel. Beautiful garden and outdoor area for a drink. We also used the EV chargers which were good when you could get them to eventually work.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday. Hotel is lovely! Room was clean and had everything we needed, nothing was too much hassle for the staff. Best breakfast we probably ever had, so much variety. We also had dinner which was outstanding. Spa and club facilities were great too. Will definitely be returning
