  • I took this in the legendary Dolomites! In Northern Italy, near Brixen/Bressanone. And this was from my last day in the Dolomites. And as far as beauty it was my favorite day! I loved seeing the fog in the mountains and valleys! And the beautiful winter forests :). This was one of my favorite viewpoints up there. I loved how low the fog was hanging! Yet also giving good views of the mountains. It was truly breathtaking to see. And this was only one of many spots around there. A great memory from December 2017!

This is BY FAR the best hotel my fiancé and I have ever stayed in. The view was beautiful, the setting tranquil, the saunas fantastic, the pool area idyllic and calming and above all the staff were just the most accommodating and welcoming of any we have encountered. Special shout out to Leonardo and all the catering staff, bar staff and reception - you are what makes this hotel brilliant.

The hosts and their sons have created a stellar property. Meals are mostly excellent, facilities are modern, clean and chique. Views over Brixen/Bressanone are lovely. A good rest stop to put up your feet and just relax after many days hiking in the area.

One of the best hotels we’ve ever been. Fabulous suite with private sauna and jacuzzi. Fantastic staff, fantastic amenities and spa services and above all the dinner experience. Every evening a 6 course dinner in Michelin style. Highly highly recommended

Hotel and facilities were amazing! Food was delicious. Views are stunning. However, it was a very hot weekend and the air conditioning wasn’t turned on and we had a terrible sleep. The hotel staff explained the problem the next day - very apologetic and understanding. But the night staff were dismissive and unhelpful and left a very bad taste in the mouth given the price we paid.

The best hotel I have ever stayed. For the price tag it’s worth everything. Very nice spa center, excellent staff, pool, sauna, view, 5 course delicious dinner and comprehensive breakfast. The only downside is the shower in main bedroom of president suite, it stinks like hell once you showered in the other shower in the secondary bedroom first. To busy and forgot to complain about it during the stay.

Wonderful place. Santre is a brand new resort, the holiday was perfect, stimulating and relaxing at the same time. The rooms are modern and characteristic. They look out onto a private terrace with a view of the town of Brixen. Mount Plose is located behind the Hotel and can be reached in a few minutes by car or by walking through the narrow streets of the small village of Sant'Andrea. A special mention must go to the staff, without whom the experience would not have been the same. The cuisine is excellent, with attention paid to all tastes (including vegan and vegetarian options for breakfast and dinner). The whole experience is enhanced by the activities organized by the staff (cycling, hiking, yoga).

Fabulous place. Wonderful story of three young brothers ownership who are very visible everyday and everywhere working—to make your stay perfect. Food as good and interesting as any Michelin star restaurant in Europe. Fantastic and very roomy spa and pool areas. Excellent service by all staff. Beautiful hotel. Great local staff and very modern feel.

Great stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful. At first we thought we were The Menu when we saw the painting in the elevator, turn out not so sinister. The evening meal was a lot of food, especially for kids. Recommend your kids start with just 1-2 of thier top choices first. Would definitely stay again. Bar was great

Heaven in the Dolomites

Santre is a newer hotel so there weren’t as many reviews as some other places but all in all, this is one of the nicest resorts we’ve stayed at. The entire hotel has a tranquil spa retreat like feel. The entire staff is so accommodating and they learn your likes to anticipate your wants for the rest of your stay. We stayed in the room with the sauna and whirlpool and it was a dream. Very comfy bed and amazing food. The chef creates masterpieces.
