"This hotel is currently being renovated, and needs it badly. Apparently some of the rooms are done and are nice. However, the rest of them, including the one I stayed in, are absolute dumps. Dirty carpets, paint peeling in the bathroom, bedside lamp did not work. And the internet service was so spotty as to be unusable. I spoke to the desk about the internet, and she apologized and said she was "not technical". Breakfast selection was minimal and totally unappealing. And this was for a...

"This property was cleaner and nicer than most premium hotels twice or three-times the price! The service at the front desk was very polite and guided me to my room when I checked in. Once I got into my room, I was floored at how nice, clean, and modern the room felt! The interior did not match the classic exterior, so don't judge the book by it's cover! I would recommend for anyone staying in the area on Long Island."

"Breakfast was good and well supplied. No hot tub was disappointing. The 4th day I got the AdA room I originally reserved. Not good planning to put the ADA room on second floor all the way at the end of the hall !! So if there is a fire and someone handicapped can't use the elevator (closed) and can't physically use stairs they are in trouble!!! I will ask more questions before I ever use this hotel chain again."

"The room was very nice size and the beds were comfortable, perfect for our family of 4. The pool was warm and kids had fun. The conference rooms were very messy for the end of the day, but it was a busy weekend so probably the staff couldn’t keep up. As well there was no common space we could share a pizza with our small company of friends, so we had to use our friend’s room. The elevators were surprisingly slow and we chose to just use stairs most of the time."
