I can’t fault this place. Superb in every way possible. Reception staff, restaurant staff all exemplary. Food unbelievable, beautiful grounds surrounding property and 5* rooms. Will be back

Great hotel rooms food and staff BUT extensive and noisy building work until 5/6 pm. No advance notice of disruption or inconvenience but boards saying ‘please bear with US’ while refurbishment going on.

Beautiful, warm & cosy cottage with everything there that you need. A lovely woodburner in the lounge, kept us warm & toastie. Very spacious accommodation, very clean. Met by owner on arrival who pointed us in the right direction for supplies etc . We took the 2 dogs with us and enjoyed some lovely ...

The property is a few minutes drive from Hadrian’s Wall which was worth visiting. We also hired a canoe on Talkin Tarn. The inn is in the village of Talkin on the outskirts of Brampton. We didn’t stop in Brampton itself.
