"Lovely location near Hexham with stately home vibes and comfortable bedrooms. The bar overlooks the golf course and has lots of nooks and crannies to settle in with a glass of whatever to people watch. The restaurant has a very good menu and the staff are attentive and make sure all is OK with your meal. Breakfast is self serve with full platters of tasty food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"I was in a room in the annexe, just off the car park. Descent size doubke room with plenty of space to both relax and work, good wifi, powerful shower (over bath) and a very comfortable double bed. Room was clean tidy, staff friendly and breakfast was hot, cold, continental, English buffet set up with fresh produce being brought out regularly."

"The hotel is in a lovely position at the side of a river and is handy for visiting Hadrian's Wall and the nearby towns of Hexham and Corbridge. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and not to be missed, especially the evening meals."

"Great location, just a short walk into town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and had a lovely ensuite. Only downside was a loose toilet seat and extremely small pillows. Nevertheless we would use this hotel again. "
