"A lovely little cottage tucked away just outside Scarborough. We stayed over for a wedding and it was a convenient 10 minute drive to the registry office. The accommodation was well thought out with everything we needed. The hot tub was set up and ready to use as soon as we arrived, and even a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting in the fridge!! The school group were noisy running & jumping in the room above but when I went to report it to reception it immediately fell silent and was quiet all night - so a great night's sleep 😴 would have been nice to have had a chair in the room - there was a cube that had to serve as a bedside table / seat. Great location adjacent to abbey and minutes from the 199 steps and a fab brewery for beer & pizza. Lovely gardens Spacious lounge & conservatory. Friendly helpful staff Bonus free ticket to abbey. Would definitley stay again 😀"

"A good, clean property with a spacious room. King sized bed roomy but mattress a little soft (but just my preference for a harder mattress). Bathroom very spacious with a bath as well as a shower (I prefer a bath). The owner upgraded us to this room free of charge so that was a lovely gesture. We found the decor a little old fashioned-again not quite our style. Biscuits accompanied our tea/coffee making facilities, a nice touch, but only normal tea and coffee, no herbal teas offered. On arrival the owner told us about the parking permit (very good value £5 for 2days) although we had already put money in a meter across the road from the property so had we known about this beforehand we would not have paid at the meter unnecessarily. (Perhaps I had missed reading such useful info in the blurb beforehand?) The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful although I would have like a croissant and/or pan au chocolat to be offered."
