The noise from the entertainment below the room was horrendous and unexpected as no warning of live music when I booked."

"Brilliant stay at the Villiers Hotel. We received a room upgrade and found ourselves staying in a Duplex Suite. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff all kind and caring and very well trained. Hotel room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very well heated during the cold spell we were experiencing. The hotel was very well maintained and presented quite a quirky and interesting persona. "Beautiful Location, relaxed atmosphere. Good sized room, if a little overpriced. Hotel was clean, toilets well serviced. Walls a little thin (or I had noisy neighbours :-) ) Reception Staff super helpful and friendly. Bar Staff and Bar Waitress faultless in helpfulness - Bar food (WH LOADED BURGER) arrived quickly and piping hot. Astons Breakfast (Sunday Morning) was fabulous, good selection. "Easy to find and fantastic big car park at the back of the hotel which was included in the price of our stay. Lovely warm room, comfortable bed and great shower. There was a good breakfast selection but staff didn’t interact with customers and didn’t clear our table once during our 2 day stay. I hate dirty pots around me!! Also no conversation with restaurant staff about alternatives for breakfast as only had fried eggs on offer at self selection. I asked for poached eggs and it took them over...
