"We booked our stay in advance and it fell on the weekend of a huge snow storm 3 feet. Power went out as well. But we had heat thankfully, and owners had a generator. They kept the driveways clear of snow. The view was picturesque. It was peaceful fun. "

Its not really possible to swim by the cottage. there's a fair bit of boat traffic and the water is shallow with a lot of rocks and obstacles. You have to swim off the dock. I also messaged several times with various questions before our trip with no response. And when we arrived the internet wasn't working and they didn't get it fixed until the second day. "The room was dark and dingy and had pluming issues , not only are room but the entire resort to bad because the resort has a nice beech and beautiful view of the lake . I would have to say the rooms are tired and in need of an up date . Hey that's just my opinion but I have to say I've been there 4 times I guess it's the views and the call of the loons that get me every time ."
