"We spent really great time during our stay in Basak Konukevi, Hostel owners are very kind, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was awesome! We were very pleased with their hospitality, especially their Turkish coffee with handmade cherry liqueur was unforgettable. The hostel is located in the center of the island and also the public car parking is 5 min walk away, you can easily have an island tour by walking. We highly recommend this hostel and would like to say thank you very much for this...

Kahvaltısı da yan taraftaki bahçelerinde veriliyor. gayet yeterli bir kahvaltıydı. bir daha adaya gittigimde kesinlikle yine burayı tercih ederim. "The host is delightful and very forthcoming, but she does not speak any English which was quite difficult. Parking is a ways away which again was hard to figure out whithout any proper communication. One thing to note on the island overall, we visited in March during Ramadan and literally every restaurant and winery was closed for remodeling except for one on the other side of the island. I don’t know if it was because of Ramadan or if they close very year to renovate all restaurants at the same...

However, the area around the hotel was really dissapointing, especially for the price range of this hotel. Our view from the only window was unreformed soil that was being used as a parking lot. Also the overall area had so many hotel buildings close to each other with poor landscaping."
