"It was a lovely property with an interesting history. We visited in the middle of a heat wave and without any A/C and being unable to open the windows more than a few inches, the rooms were hot! A nice quiet fan was provided but it made the heat slightly less unbearable. Thank goodness for the pool! The staff were pleasant and helpful."

"Drunk male receptionist took ages to check us in , then given me a room I haven’t book . I have booked one family large room 145 - two green standing single beds and double bed room and I was given one double bed , one single and pull out of this bed to sleep on the floor type matrasse bed , when I questioned this he said that I was suppose to be told this when booked - nonsense I booked via this page with photos of the room - freestanding two single beds !!!"

"I was little disappointed as when I booked through hotels.com platform,they advertised it as breakfast included free but then when I arrived at the hotel, I was told breakfast was not included. They didn't tell me the cost of the breakfast until I asked, neither was I given a receipt of my payment made (I should have asked but I had three little kids to sort out and it slipped out of my mind) The room was stuffy, there was a fan which only had speed control and didn't do a great job. Not many...

"Beautiful property, bed was comfortable, shower was lovely However, stain on the carpet, hair grips on the floor - wouldn't deter me from staying again (just need cleaners to pay more attention 😉)"

"Very convenient to the airport. Don’t take an Uber. The hotel has shuttle for only 5 pounds per person. Uber was 45 pounds one way."

"Lovely respite after the horrendous Raddison Blu in Heathrow. The airconditioner worked, the walls and carpet were clean and the staff friendly. No room service but not hugely problematic for us."

"Advertised as air conditioned rooms but air-conditioning not functioning at all with a dangerous looking wire hanging from the ceiling. I left the hotel as the room was too hot to sleep in and I was told I would get a full refund if I applied through Expedia. I have done this and Expedia tell me the can’t get through to the hotel to approve the refund."

"Ok for the price. Staff ok but review was poor because of the work going on outside heavy drilling and cutting of an ac unit so couldn’t get any work done. Otherwise it was ok for one night."
