"The hotel is under renovation and is noisy during daytime hours. The staff informs you as you check in to let them know if you hear noise outside of specific hours-so you can’t sleep in. The hotel charges a nightly parking fee but many of the parking spots are blocked by construction vehicles and storage units. We had to drive around looking for a spot and ended between two dumpsters. Upon check-in we were informed that rooms are only cleaned every other day which is fine. Save the planet...

"The hotel's website said there was "self parking" available. What this means is that you pay $30 per night at a lot across the street from the hotel. The infuriated me. In addition, there was NOTHING in the room about guest services, checkout time, room service, menu for the on-site restaurant, not a shred of information about restaurants or other places to visit nearby. That is useful information to me. It almost felt like the hotel was run by robots."

"The floor was pretty gross when we first walked in (hair strands and clumps everywhere, debris, etc). We went down to the front to request a room change or for someone to clean the floor. The receptionist was professional and sweet. Her manager, however, insisted that she cleaned the room herself and how it couldn’t be dirty. Due to their being no other king suite and the manager not wanting to fix the issue, we asked for a refund and left."

"Had an overnight stay and the Spark was a nice, clean, and comfortable hotel and the room was clean and beds were comfortable. Definitely will stay again when traveling the I95 corridor."

"Our stay was wonderful, we were surprised by the apt sized refrigerator with freezer as well as the dishwasher. The room was big with a nice couch. The shower was roomy. We only spent one night but would consider this type hotel again, especially for a longer stay."

"I booked and prepaid for2 rooms 9 months before our trip to the Outer Banks as a stay over on the way. After traveling 8 hours we arrived at Towneplace Suites in Fredericksburg where we were told our rooms had been canceled the day before. There was a horse race going on and they sold our rooms right out from under us, most likely for a higher rate.
