South West Bay Cabañas

"South West Bay Cabañas was a wonderful place to stay in Providencia. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my visit. The property has a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful tropical setting that feels perfectly suited to the island. My room and the surrounding areas were very clean and well maintained. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the beach—so it was easy to enjoy the water, the sunsets, and the laid-back rhythm of Southwest Bay. The staff were also helpful with information about activities and ways to explore the island, which made the stay even more enjoyable. What stood out most was the combination of warm hospitality, cleanliness, convenience, and natural beauty. It felt comfortable, authentic, and connected to the spirit of Providencia rather than overly commercial. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful island experience near the beach."

"All of staff was superb and very accommodating in making arrangements for taxi transportation, car rental, making phone calls to verify services at dive shop. Breakfasts were varied and good. Bottled water available 24/7. Rooms were very clean. Ants were busy but staff took care of this. Location walkable to Manzanillo 1 mile and SW Beach 1.5 miles but there were some hills to deal with. Only places to eat were beach venues so that was a bit inconvenient. Location close to THE DIVE SHOP with shuttle service if needed. Definitely would stay here again. "
