"The lodge is well located in the Hillcrest area, close to the Main Road with it's shops and restaurants. Bev the hostess was very welcoming and seemed prepared to go out of her way to assist her guests. The breakfast in the morning was varied and good. "The hosts are charming and very helpful. We felt most welcome. The stay was very comfortable, and the breakfast superb. There was evidence by way of ash and ends caught in the rail of the sliding doors of the bedroom leading out to the pool, that someone had smoked in the room which was unfortunate."

"Great Location, out of the city, but not far from shopping center and local restaurants. 30 minutes away from Durban. Checking-in was easy, and the room was spacious, and the lady receiving us was helpful and guide us where to find food close by. Breakfast was good, and sufficient, service was very good. "We ended up staying at another property due to locals warning us that the area where this property is situated is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and that the would not recommend us going there at all. We were expecting to arrive after dark thus did not want to take the chance."
