"What a lovely experience. Fairway Guesthouse was sublimely superb. As a location with an absolutely stunning view of the golf course overlooking the sea and Durban cityscapes, as well as the absolutely wonderful friendly service, that simply made us feel home away from home. "The lodge is well located in the Hillcrest area, close to the Main Road with it's shops and restaurants. "Great Location, out of the city, but not far from shopping center and local restaurants. 30 minutes away from Durban. Checking-in was easy, and the room was spacious, and the lady receiving us was helpful and guide us where to find food close by. Breakfast was good, and sufficient, service was very good. "Very noisy throughout our stay. Doors banging , furniture moving around in units above , people speaking loudly made it difficult to fall asleep , running up and down the stairs. Unit was clean and spacious but the bed linen needs to be replaced..very old. Hats off to the staff member who checked our unit on departure...I left behind a few pieces of jewelry and she was honest enough to hand it over to me. Scenery excellent. "
