He then got more annoyed that he didn't have the right number for me because he mixed me up with a different lodger. "It was very good value and in a very beautiful area. The maintenance of the building was outstanding. No lift and, at 80, I found that a bit of a struggle. But will return - and breakfast was good value."

"The accommodation itself was lovely with a beautiful bathroom, the building itself needed a bit of care in places but because this is a community owned building the money is needed for other things like the rooms which have been done. I do not think this is a hotel but more a bed and breakfast as you have to pay for an evening meal in the bar/restaurant downstairs every night along with any drinks, you are unable to charge them to your room. "Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. "

"Our “room” was a small apartment set over two floors. Very comfortable, clean and with everything we needed for a few nights. WiFi was good. Nice art on the walls. Plenty of parking. And convenient location for touring around snowdonia and north wales. Staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Very nice breakfasts included. Thankyou for everything"
