"The oasis pool and spa would’ve been enjoyable if they were open! The biggest disappoint of our trip. We specifically picked Mercure for the big pool and spa, we were not notified at all that it would be closed during our stay, otherwise we would’ve cancelled and found something else. A special thanks to one of the managers Sophie who gifted wine and chocolates after hearing our disappointment. Overall a good stay, generally clean, great buffet breakfast, friendly staff. The bathroom could do with a revamp and the vent in the room definitely needs a good clean as it constantly blew dust. If the oasis pool is open I’d recommend Mercure. "

"Me and my partner had a lovely stay at palm beach hotel. It was the perfect base for us to explore the gold coast for the very first time! Our room was big and we found the sink handy for brushing teeth/ washing face before bed without having to go into shared bathroom. That being said the shared bathrooms were modern and clean , very well maintained which we appreciated! Our room itself could definitely do with a face lift. A fresh lick of paint & some new furniture would really lift the property 😍 The bed was a bit too soft for us but that's people dependent, we also found it odd that we weren't actually given a duvet. All we were supplied with was a top sheet 🤔 The cleaning staff were super lovely and gave us fresh towels daily which we loved! Overall we had a great time here, only downside I would say is you have to go up stairs to get to rooms so if you're not able bodied you will struggle."

"The unit was exactly as advertised. Clean and a great location. Unfortunately the new condo was being constructed directly in front of our view and although the work didn’t obstruct our view the crane and operator was directly at our level on the 23rd floor. Fortunately we were out and about during most of the work hours. Just needed to be a little careful from 6 am to 7:30 am before we left for the day. "

"Everything was wonderful. Stunning view from our ocean front room. Automatic curtains were a nice touch and the staff were all lovely. Hot tub, pool deck and spa were very enjoyable spaces. Loved our stay, look forward to returning. Only criticism is the room service and pool menu could do with a few more options."

"The room needed a good clean we still had previous guests toenails in bathroom and on the carpets. The kitchen sink is dirty, oven, hotplate and range hood covered in fat and the filters are missing from the rangehood. All the crockery and cultery don't match and were dirty. There was mould on the blinds, curtains, skirting boards and in the bathroom.We could see that the place had been freshly painted and they have tried to bring it back to a 4 star but the neglect of replacing the furniture and light fitting (which are rusted) are really what was needed as well. I think personally that they need to bring in a professional cleaning to bring it up to scratch. They should let guessed know before they stay that there is construction work going on outside the building as we found it hard to sleep with the noise. The staff were nice and helpful .t was just the state of the unit."

"We recently stayed at Nobby’s Beach Holiday Village and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We were allocated a tent site directly beside the bins without prior notice, which caused issues immediately. When I tried to call the office to discuss the tent location and seek assistance, my call was not returned. There were ongoing disturbances throughout our stay, including cars driving in and out of the park throughout the night on both nights we stayed, which made it very difficult to sleep. Noise late at night, repeated disruptions, and unsafe behaviour in the pool area meant my children did not feel comfortable or safe using the facilities. As a result, they were unable to enjoy key amenities during our stay. I made multiple attempts to contact management during and after our stay, including phone calls, a website feedback submission, and email, but received no response. What was meant to be a relaxing end to the holidays turned into a stressful and exhausting experience, and the lack of follow-up has been equally disappointing. "
