"Oaks Resort overall was good, unfortunately the towels and sheets were dirty, but the hotel staff were fabulous and organised house keeping to replace the towels and change the sheets very promptly. The pool area was fabulous as was the gardens surrounding Oaks Resort. We would no hesitate to stay there again. "

"We had a nice stay at Silkari Lagoons! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The hotel is in a great location—just a short drive or leisurely walk from the centre of Port Douglas, making it easy to explore the local cafes, shops, and the beach. Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay. "

"Great stay for a large family group. Really wonderful staff at every corner of the property. Comfortable large rooms, good food, amazing pool options, right on the beach. It is really nice for families and groups, plenty of places to 'meet up'. Only cons was it is missing a little kids play area (seems like it should have one) and the day spa is independent so you couldn't get Marriott points or room charge at the spa."

"Accommodation was fine. I was unaware that there wasn't a lift and there was no wifi for a week. Very hard to get work done when there is no wifi. Communication on the wifi issue stopped after my second night, which is disappointing. "

"Accommodation was good, check-in windows of 2pm to 5pm was weird & never heard of. Overall it's decent lodge with lots & lots of noise, will keep you awake in the night!"

"The staff were absolutely wonderful. Professional, friendly and knowledgable. The food was exceptional. Fresh, tasty, innovative and in excellent portions. The Ecolodge was a great place to start our day and a cool, comfortable refuge at the end of the day's activities.The location despite being in the Daintree was very accessble to tours, restaurants and shopping- for us. Ee recommend the Ecolodge without hesitation."
