"I wanted a hotel near to the Vila Tugenhat and tram lines that would be good for an overnight stay. Hotel Europa met my needs. It isn't fancy, but the staff are welcoming, friendly, and informative and helpful. The rooms could do with renovation, but they are spacious, comfortable and clean. I was on the top floor in hot weather, but opening the skylights at night and air con at other times fixed that. "The hotel Royal Ricc is in a very convenient location only a block from the main Square in the City Hall. There are several restaurants and bar bars nearby. There is one with very good beer next to our window, however. It hasn’t bothered us, but it might bother someone who is a light sleeper. They offered to move us, but we chose to stay where we were because the room was really awesome!"
