"Great location since is very closed to the airport, the hotel was very clean and the bed very comfortable. But we couldn’t sleep because the room air conditioning was not working properly, we called the reception and gave us instructions on how to reset it but still the air was not cooling. So for that reason we couldn’t rest. "

"The food was above average with a large bar selection if you wanted a drink before bed. The buffet was very good with a nice selection of fresh meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, eggs, etc. The tv barely worked—digital tuning was very pixelated. My bathroom ceiling had lots of water damage patches that were pretty unsightly. The ac worked ok, too noisy for window to open—although it did. With closed window, room was quiet. Pillows were not much, but the bed was firm. Staff was friendly and multi-lingual. The pickup shuttle was great, but the one I needed back was full. They called a taxi which was kind but it was an added 25€. Pool was closed. Nothing around it, so fine if you’re just sleeping the night before a flight, but I wouldn’t stay there for an extended trip. Not sure I’d stay there again for the cost."

"Madrid is an expensive city so factoring that in, the hotel is fine but don’t think that you are getting the same value as you would elsewhere. Its fairly close to Atocha which is why we selected it. The only thing that was not great was having to pay to use the lockers to store baggage. It ended up being quite expensive as we got their really early and were gone for the day. Most hotels offer this for free"

"The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly, we were able to check in early and leave our luggage on the last day. Room was cleaned and re set every morning. The main hotel area was clean, modern and spacious, however the room we were in did feel outdated. The bed wasn’t the comfiest but I do believe you get what you pay for here. The train is about 30 mins to Sol center and it is a short walk down the road to the station. There was also a lot of building work right outside the window which was noisy in the mornings. But I would stay here again as it is great value for money."
