"The staff are incredibly nice and helpful, most specifically at the reception desk. The property is in a fabulous area and setting. Our bedroom was quite large, fitted with the bare basics, and plain decor. Room was tired and needing an update. Not much storage space for clothes and the lack of air-conditioning was uncomfortable in the evenings and at night (needed due to the lovely hot weather outside). We visited at peak season and the hotel was packed, but our room was lovely and quiet. So some good things and some poor. Glad we got a deal through a 3rd party website - at full price I would probably have been disappointed. Staff and location are the main assets."

"Room was clean, slightly dated for the price you pay, youโd expect more for the Hilton chain. The staff I dealt with had been friendly. Onsite parking was good with a nice price of ยฃ3 a night, just remember that if you drive all the way around the back looking for a better space, you will need to then drive out of the hotel, down the dual carriageway and back again to re-enter the car park. At the time of my stay the access to loop back around the hotel car park was blocked off."

"The rooms are excellent, clean, quiet and picturesque. The staff in general were also excellent. Must have been the busiest time of the year but the bar and restaurant staff are not very good. Takes ages to get served in the bar and then there is no where to sit as everything was reserved. When I tried to reserve the next day, I was spent a yarn about 17:30 to 18:30 etc.... etc.. The breakfast quality is poor but the quantity is fine. The bacon was like leather, the sausage a bit tough and scrambled egg runny."

"Really great value for money! Really nice rooms, with air con too! Great location, close to Oxford and many of the fab pubs and farm shops of the Cotswolds. Really friendly and helpful staff. Great amenities including Dyson hairdryer, ghd straighteners and a 24 hour coffee bar / front desk - great shout! Really would recommend and would certainly stay again!"
