"Staying here felt like a dreamy escape into nature. It was as if we were sleeping among the treetops! The lush surroundings and panoramic views over Kingston were absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were full of charm, evoking that classic, old-school Jamaican vibe that made the experience feel authentic and cozy. Service was attentive and warm, and the food? Simply delicious! "Mostly an excellent experience and the hostess and staff were really friendly and helpful. Two downsides are that they did not tell beforehand that dinners and breakfasts cost additionally. Dinner ($18-$24) and breakfast ($8-$10). Also there were some bugs in the room as there was a gap between the door and the door frame. Overall a great accommodation though and ideal for hikers interested in doing the blue mountain peak trail."

"I stayed one night at RafJam with my mom. The property was gorgeous! There was a steam flowing through the side and rear or the property and had a cool dripping area and two mini falls. "The pre-check in experience and connection to the Property manager was thorough and efficient and let you know what to expect upon arrival. Property Manager was great in laying out the property features and surrounding area. The location was walking distance from supermarkets, banks, eating locations etc. For those it pertains to, the US Embassy is also within walking distance. Community is gated so the added security benefit is there."

"This place is for people who truly looking to have an alone time and find themselves a bit more. Scarlett offers amazing views to the sea and the mountains that surround it. The host and staff at Scarlett Guest House are wonderful individuals who truly know how to do their job. "

"Amazing views and the host offered me great insight into the area and history of Jamaica and Kingston It is NOT close to the actual city. I would NOT use a rental car to commute there. Use a cab or Uber only. It costs about 10-15 dollars (US) each way to the Half Tree area and a little more for other popular sites. It was clean and I felt safe the whole time"
