"Only 1 complaint. Hard surface floors were sticky, having not been rinsed. Not sure how housekeepers aren’t trained and don’t know. I left a polite note describing the issue and asking to rinse the floors. Note and tip were gone - floors still sticky."

"Nice historic building in the center of town. Very nicely maintained and the staff are quiet but friendly enough. The back of the hotel can get noisy with nightly alley mini parties. Our bed was basically U-shaped and we struggled to not roll into the middle of the bed. That was our only complaint. Parking is excellent and there’s a very good sushi restaurant in the lobby. There’s also a good number of places to eat around the plaza and in the surrounding neighborhoods."

Some people may be okay with a virtual front desk attendant but I found it weird. I feel uncomfortable knowing that there wasn’t a person I could physically go to if something went wrong. "The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable. They were kind about my husband's allergies and accommodating airing out the room."

There did not appear to be any staff on site and it did not feel safe. Extra flooring planks were left in the hallway with caution tape wrapped around them.
