"Just amazing. 400 m from the Violetts Gondola and they still offer a shuttle to the lifts. The staff are incredible. A beautiful welcome, smiles and genuine hospitality. The breakfast is sensational and dining first class. The views from the room takes your breath away and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. This is a gem and massively added to the enjoyment of our trip. Thank you to all. "

"So amazing! This is an authentic chalet tucked in the mountains. It’s a quick drive to Lauterbrunnen or there’s a free bus. I love the little grocery market that’s across the street. Just a stone throw away. This market has famous croissants that are a regional favorite.. but don’t eat too many because the breakfast at this hotel is great. The staff was very polite. The only thing I would encourage them to do is provide coffee in the rooms. They do have teabags in the hallway and water kettles...

"Nicely positioned with a balcony overlooking the main square. A two minute walk to the castle behind. Excellent pasta in the restaurant below and of course the Italian gelato was welcome."

"An incredible spot. We chose to leave the car in town and enjoyed the gondola up. If you stay a night it should be half price. The views were amazing and the gondola stops at the property. Probably the most scenic accommodation ever. Also good food and drink and nice staff. 10/10z"

"We loved our stay at the Historic Hotel Steinbock. We booked a room with a river view for two nights which was great. The room was decorated nicely and had everything you would need during your stay. The included breakfast each morning was very good with a large variety of items to pick from. The contactless check in was a plus. There are restaurants and a market nearby that are walkable from the hotel also. The location is great for day trips to various areas of interest. There is also parking...

"Hotel had everything. We stayed in the end of April. Had a pool ans sauna to use as we wanted. The breakfast was perfect for what we needed. Been in switzerland for 7 days and it was everyones favorite place so far"
