"I have often stayed at this hotel when travelling for business in the area and it never disappoints. The service, staff, ambience, excellent food and easy car parking, makes it a must stay. Always a genuine welcome and the pwners / staff happy to chat whilst you're there. Fantastic breakfast and a great dinner menu, congrats to the chef for thier consistent wonderful, tasty food."

"I stayed at the Woolpack for a long weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better or ore friendly place to stay! The rooms was immaculate and had everything you could want or need, the breakfast hamper is such a nice touch and already included in the price. The staff all made me feel so welcome, a good funny bunch that went above and beyond. The atmosphere was even better with the live band in the bar Saturday night, having a good dance to some real music. Would 100% stay again! "

"The Hotel is an absolute must, it’s set in secluded grounds surrounded by amazing views across the beautiful Essex countryside, the staff are absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble, a special shout out to Stephen who made us feel so welcome and spent time telling us about the Hotels History, Christina and the team ensured they made our stay a real pleasure, our room was fantastic, spacious and super clean, as for the food it was incredible !!!
