"A good hotel with clean comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Evening restaurant meals were okay with a pretty "standard" menu with an odd approach of staggering restaurant sittings for larger groups. The location is somewhat out of the way which makes getting there a little difficult without a car. Rooms do not have air conditioning and do not come with a fridge which I would have expected given the prices for rooms. I would stay again if visiting the area...

"The hotel was lovely, beautiful location and surrounding. Unfortunately there was wedding, birthday parties and event on and the we felt the service was slow. It took a while for someone to come over to our table, or take orders. We had to go to the bar to order more drinks, everything just took so long. For dinner, had to ask 2 staff for mustard, and the steak sauce came as the steak was nearly finished. I can only assumed dues to the busy weekend that services was less attentive, but staff are...

"The bar maid was very argumentative. We told her we had a reservation to which she informed us that they do not take reservation for less than 6 people. When the professional gentleman returned he took us to our table which had our room number on it. Furthermore, she proceeded to serve a tall, good looking man who approached the bar way after we had been standing a waiting."

"We only stayed for one night before an early morning flight from Stansted, but we were pleased with our stay. It was good value for money, the bed was comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep — albeit a short one due to our early flight! The hotel was only around a 15-minute drive from the terminal, which made it really convenient for an early departure. There’s also a large car park at the back, which was really handy. "The check-in was good and pleasant the room had only one pillow each and one towel for 3 people. requested reception for more towels not a problem. More pillows was not a positive response and no more pillows were provided. we just made the meal on the night. we were expected to have the starter and main meal with the same cutlery. On request it was given to us in a very unprofessional manner. The location was not very good and we would not use this place again. We stopped only one night...

"I turned up with my children I was buzzing the door because we was on late flight , no answer at all I have photo to prove i was there. lost 100 euro and was not happy had to find and pay for another hotel with a 3 year old and 13 year old girls in tow !! I was on the phone when the lady shut the door just before I buzzed to let me in !!! Shocking really was !! Lost money, paid for 2 taxis and 2 hotels in one night after traveling all day ..... 260 euros out of my pocket cos receptionist...

"It was unfortunately very average. I only stayed here 6 months ago and I feel my stay this time wasn’t as good. The staff were not very friendly. The room was very tired. On a positive note the breakfast has a good range of food and the lobby of the hotel is relaxing."
