"The rooms and common areas are opulent and luxurious. The grounds are wonderfully manicured with exceptional views out to the sea. There is even a haunted castle ruin on site! All the staff are wonderful and friendly, especially Andrea who looked after my family and I on our short stay. Without a doubt, one of the prettiest hotels in Scotland! "

"The Bank House was tucked away in a neighborhood. Not your typical hotel accommodation. Kind of a cross between a hotel and AirBnB. Private parking available. Upon arrival, had to ring the bell for someone to greet you and let you in. This and checkout were really the only times we had contact with staff. Room was quite large and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. One of the most during our 12 day stay in Scotland. Bathroom with plenty of room. However, the toilet required a below...

"Breakfast good,not outstanding. Parking was a bit of a faff. Otherwise everything was excellent. Lovely public areas, good food, we had a lunch for seven people and the food was very good. The hotel was lovely and warm and so close to the city . But the best thing was the staff who were all so helpful and friendly. Would book again . "

"Staff was very friendly and accommodating - the male host knew who I was when I arrived (I had emailed a week before to let them know I was a late check in). I needed a fork and was promptly given one to take to my room so I could eat my salad. In the morning I also had lovely exchanges with the staff. My room was great, clean and just what I needed. I would stay here again- highly recommend."
