"The outdoor area was beautiful, we especially loved the fire pit! The room was nice. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Staff was super friendly and helpful with any needs. We also really appreciated the amount of towels we had in our room, with a family of 6 we usually always have to ask for more towels, but this place gave plenty (10 towels!). There is a beautiful beach right down the road, with a playground and kayak rental. We walked, it was about 14 minutes, but...

"My girlfriend and I LOVED this place. It's not the Marriot or some chain, so it's a bit unique and has quirks, and that's why it's awesome. The room was small but comfortable, the bed very comfy. There was no TV in the room, which I really liked. Great shower. Outside there was a little deck with chairs so we could relax, listen to the Ausable River and look at the lovely grounds. There was also a restaurant area (closed while we were there) that we could sit in for meals or just to hang out....
