"The Walnut Tree is the finest example of a superb family-run hotel and has the highest standards across all its services. I received a lovely welcome at check-in and was shown to my room (rather than being directed) and given a summary of services and mealtimes. I was there for 3 nights and had dinner on 2 of them. Only issue was tv was set with a reminder to change channel spoke to staff they thought it was rectified but happened for second night not an issue as stay was relaxing and enjoyable. "

"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun."
