"After spending a lot of time researching hotels in Malta, we chose the Solana Hotel based on its location, facilities, price, and room photos. Check-in was smooth, and we were quickly given directions to our room. Unfortunately, the room we were assigned was on level -3 and had no window. "I wanted a quiet few days in Gozo - I didn't have a car so picked this hotel for convenience to ferries and buses. I opted for a room with a terrace/sun loungers. I had a really large room on 8th floor, with spectacular views over the harbour, great air conditioning, huge comfortable bed. We also had a large round bath in the room which I wasn't expecting. The infinity pool was beautiful, stunning views and jacuzzi area. Staff were all lovely - we didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on...

"My friend and I stayed here from 08/07-08/13 for a girls trip. We had the unfortunate experience of staying in room 201. The hotel was clean but there was a foul sewer smell that would enter from the vents around 9am in the morning. The smell was so bad that it made us nauseous. This lasted from 08/09-08/13.
