"Checking in was not so easy, had to ring the bell multiple times and eventually almost go behind the counter to flag someone down. The water pressure was so unusually high that the shower head literally flew off its holster at one point and sprayed the hold bathroom with water before I got it back under control! Was slightly funny. The mattress was knackered and urgently needs replacing. Gross."

"We had a two night stay here for our anniversary. Cannot fault anything. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast was a great experience lots of choices from cold and hot options. Lovely garden to sit and relax. Had a lovely walk along the canal. Overall a great experience. "

"Breakfast was ok but lacked fresh fruit, the property needs a refresh and fridges in the bedrooms (although one was supplied on request) No air con but that's normal for the UK. The room was clean and the sports bar was ok - spacious and quick service with pool tables and tvs to watch sport. Driving range and tennis courts were fun and there are outdoor spaces to sit and relax"

"When booking with this hotel make sure that breakfast is included in the fee for the room. Otherwise you will be paying 15 pounds for every meal. Also, the outlets are not the normal to outlets that you would see in modern hotels. Make sure to get a three prom to change your electronics. The Wi-Fi is not that get. "

"I was worried about taking a single room but actually it was a decent size with everything I needed such as iron and hair dryer. The (very small) bathroom had great water pressure and hot water throughout my stay. Front desk were super friendly and helped organise taxis etc for me. The hotel has ample parking and is in a quiet location. I’d never considered staying there before but I’m very likely to choose it again.
