"Clean rooms with shutters on the windows. I stayed in the Traditional room with 2 beds, no fireplace. It had air conditioning and heat. The breakfast is not complementary. The hotel does give a 15% discount for staying at the hotel. We did not eat at the restaurant This place has been there for many years so the parking spaces are small. The hotel advertised it had bath robes however, our room did not have them other than that it had everything else it stated and was a nice stay. "

"The grounds were lovely - beautifully maintained and lush. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Our room however had a light that was shining directly in from the outside and no blinds over one of the large glass windows. "

"The vanity in th eroom is tiny. The couch very uncomfortab le. There was no view to speak of even though a large part of what we paid for was the view. The towels were uncomfortable. Check in was at 4:00 pm precisely even though we had been offered early check in. The breakfast was not included. The bar was super expensive. Overall, not to be repeated!"

"The resort is in the best location with breathtaking 180 degree views of the dramatic pacific coast. The room was clean and very comfortable with a cozy fireplace. The onsite restaurant and lounge are excellent choices for dining breakfast, lunch, or dinner while gazing at the incredible ocean views along Big Sur. I loved my stay here! "

"The room was very clean and the staff is great, very responsive to all my questions. The location is also good and it’s lovely to look out your window and see lots of greenery. Only negative is the shabbiness of the bathroom and a few pieces of furniture. The bathrooms are greatly in need of an upgrade. "
