"Great stay"

"A really lovely hotel with even lovelier staff. Right next to the beach and perfect for our little get away. Breakfast was also really lovely and the staff were really accommodating"

"We had a lovely last minute break at Chestnut luxury lodge with our dog. It was quiet and relaxing, spotless. Exceptional hospitality and communication from Billy and team, all the wonderful extras coffee pods & tea coffee box and cleaning essentials boxes were great. India loved her break and treats too and the warm welcome. The hot tub was amazing. The lodge was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the ice cream and waffles from the visiting catering van on the...

"Great location for proximity to Town, super parking. "

"The property was absolutely fine as a base. Easily walkable to the shops and the seafront. The parking is not great around the area. There is pay and display parking nearby but on-street parking was limited. The host replied quickly to any messages I sent and was helpful. The only negative I have is that the resident upstairs, above the property, was quite noisy when moving around in the night time."

"Great value, great staff and great breakfast. Was slightly disappointed as we had a couple of issues in the room, which we reported, but nobody came to sort it out."

"A lovely hotel with many original features. The dinner and breakfast were lovely, there was a nice selection of both. The room was great and plenty of plugs to charge devices. I liked the lounge/bar area with a wide selection of books and games available for patrons. It's very well located for trips to Battle itself and Hastings. Would very happily stay here again."

"Room was very clean and staff were very helpful and understanding, I will definitely return if I ever get to be back to Hastings"

"We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was nice and quiet. A fan was available in the room which helped during the heatwave. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No wardrobe but hooks on the wall and hangers for clothes which was ok as we only stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly on arrival and at breakfast. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable."

"Nice clean room and friendly welcome"

"This Little inn above the pub was so charming. The room was fantastic, cozily decorated and had a big window. The weather was perfect, and we were able to have the window open. Caution with the window open, it can be a little noisy from the pub downstairs. But no worries on that. We enjoyed hearing folks having lots of fun! It's also conveniently located and easily walkable to the old town. And of course, gorgeous Beach."
