"Robert, the host was exceptional friendly and helpful. The property is superb and well worth a stay. Breakfast was great with a good choice of options. Only downside for some was lack of local amenities such as a pub, but please dont let that put anyone off. Great Stay."

"A beautiful hotel with very generous sized, clean, cosy rooms; well stocked with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Unfortunately though, our mattress and pillows were quite hard making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. An excellent breakfast with a very good choice of cooked food, fresh fruit, pastries and cereals etc. It would be even better if you could have a latte instead of the filter coffee but that is only a small thing."

"Lovely accommodation & nice to have use of the kitchen. Breakfast also good. All the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Unfortunately, we were in one of the accessible rooms, which wasnโt great. The bathroom stank of drains which wasnโt pleasant. However, as soon as we mentioned it to the staff they immediately gave us some air freshener to help. Great location & in a different room we would have given it an even higher score!"

"We stayed for 3 nights in the Hetton bedroom. Very clean, lovely bathroom and comfy bed. Just the pillows that I didnโt get on with. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice both hot and cold. On two of our three evenings we ate in the inn and the food was great, cannot fault any of it. Lovely, friendly staff. Great position for travelling to all the sights in Northumberland. We will definitely stay again."

"We stayed one Saturday night in early August. A nice welcoming hotel with ample parking. We had a premier room which was very comfortable, quiet, and had pleasant views over the gardens. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and reminded us that everything in the minibar was complimentary! As weโd eaten prior to arriving, the snacks and drinks - both alcoholic and soft were just enough to keep us satisfied until our good nightโs sleep. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and served in the hotelโs restaurant. This was a good choice for an overnight stay, especially in a premier room."
