"The hotel was lovely, huge bathroom. Way too quiet for us though. Breakfast was over cooked, eggs on my wife’s eggs benedict were nearly hard boiled, bacon was tough. Very steep stairs down to breakfast room. The bar was closed most of the day, with a bell for service. We tried it but no one came. The staff were lovely, but just not enough of them, and same ones we’re doing everything. With the size of the hotel, this was an impossible task. We ended up spending most of ur time at the hotel opposite."

"Amazing going back .soon. breakfast spot.on..room lovely a big bedroom big too Taxi drivers who we used Judith was amazing. The only thing i could say was the bar we waiting 10 minutes and the bar staff was no where to be seen .so back to room for a cuppa and biscuit...."

"Staff amazing! Bed and pillows not very comfortable, but great shower pressure. Little disappointing that we couldn't get a table for dinner as a music quizz night was on."

"Lovely staff, a radiator sprung a leak in the bathroom which was temporarily sorted, and imediately repaired the following day. Quality full English breakfasts and exceptional evening meals. I highly recommend The White Swan in Lowick."

"Beautiful room, real demonstration of how to renovate a Victorian seafront room. Spotless, comfortable, quiet, amazing sea view. Alison and her staff were super-friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast. A perfect base for exploring the area. Only tiny quibble is that the extractor fan in the (otherwise excellent) bathroom is very noisy. Fine as long as you remember to close the bathroom door until the fan stops! "
