"It's clear the owners are refurbishing this motel right off I-91 in Putney, VT. The bathrooms are freshly tiles, wooden floors replace wall to wall carpet, new lighting and thermo pane sliding doors. If you need a bed on a long drive, support these folks. Putney Food Coop is just up the road for great coffee and a wide choice of food."

I don't think one single staff member greeted me during the 3 nights I stayed there. They just sat behind the desk or walked about but never said hello or even smiled. "

"If you love retro/vintage/history/ quiet and pet friendly this place is wonderful for a short stay and lowkey weekend. So many cool local businesses and delicious food. We went for a show at the stone church- walking distance from hotel! And everything we could have needed was easily accessible. They have a bar downstairs and a movie theatre in the hotel!
