The room was small but clean and easy to keep tidy with the built-in desk, shelves, and hooks. Surprisingly quiet considering the floor we were on seemed pretty full. Amazing location next to Ostbahnhof with the S-Bahn and all the quick eateries and grocery stores.

Cosy and warm hotel lobby with great coffee shop. Amazing location right next to the East Side Gallery and opposite a major train station (Ostbahnhof). Really easy to check in and out with app on your phone and unlock your room with this app also. My only criticism is the pillows were like giant, mainly unformed bags of cotton wool.

Perfect location in Friedrichshain. Close to local food/drink spots (Yaam, Holzmarkt 25, RAW Gelande) and the east side gallery of the wall.

Lovely property, we ate dinner in the restaurant which was great for a simple burger, never had any issues to require us to speak to staff as everything is done through the app including check in/out and room key, but reception was always manned. Bags were safe locked in the luggage room for day of departure, we hired a large locker for 12hr for €4. Lots of places to relax including a children’s play area. Right opposite a major train station (s bahn) with direct links to the airport which was easy to navigate for our late arrival.

The hotel serves its purpose, somewhere to stay with good transort links and internally it is quiet with plenty of space on the ground floor for seating with a cafe and bar. However the local area is grubby and the station nearby attracts homeless drinking on the pavement, tent living and lots of youth wandering around in large groups.

This hotel is OUTSTANDING! Schulz fulfills that elusive wish - a hotel that is both affordable and "ticks all the boxes". This is one of the best hotels we've stayed as a family. Check in was fast and friendly. Our room was compact but we had plenty of space - the kids loved having their own, individual beds! The room and common areas were very clean. WiFi was fast. The bathroom was a good size, plenty of towels, and quality hand and body soap. The restaurants on the ground floor had great service and delicious food. The location is ideal - walkable to a few sites coupled with excellent transport links. Initially, we were worried that since there were a lot of young people that the night/wee hours would be noisy as they returned from bars/clubs. How wrong we were! The hotel was quiet - we all slept very well. We will definitely be back!

the stay went very well. the rooms and service were perfect. in front there is the train and bus station with many bar and supermarkets, unfortunately it is frequented by some drunk people already in the morning (as in all stations in all cities) but there is the police on duty all day

Great location

Great location, right next to train station, buses and S-bahn. Strange lay-out of a double room but very neat and quiet. Breakfast option of 17 euro way too expensive.

Overall, everything was amazing I can’t complain, location, staff, amenities everything was really really good EXCEPT the pillows… they are the worst pillows I have every sleep with in my entire life, it’s just like sleeping in the pillow case this guys should have an improve in that Besides that you should book this place!

I chose the Schultz hotel for its proximity to Berlin's Ostbahnhof. There are several low-cost food choices in and around the station, and the neighborhood was comfortable to walk around. The hotel staff are wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable with some nice touches that make this brand unique and enjoyable to stay at. I hope to be back again soon!

Cozy modern hotel

The hotel is conveniently located, just a few mins walk from metro and train connections. The mobile app that allows check-in and gives access to the room makes the check-in process fast and easy. My room was in general clean (except for some dirt on the floor), basic but comfortable.

Well located & comfortable place to lay your head

Just across the road from Ostbanhof Station and next to the old Berlin wall. Checkin was smooth although I was not able to get the app working. My single room was a reasonable size and comfortable. Cafe, Bar, Restaurant attached to reception. Great place to simply lay your head after business or sightseeing. Only negative was a student group staying during my visit which meant teenagers running around and up and down the lifts etc
