We checked in with a 9m old baby and were sceptical if this hostel could accommodate our needs accordingly. But the staff and everybody was so friendly and helpful, they provided a babybed and there was even a children’s chair at the breakfast room. Really surprising quality for something that calls itself Hostel. We would always go back to Grand Hostel Berlin!

It doesn't have a place to wash and dry clothes, besides there isn't facilities for freezing foods or cut an orange or something like that. It's like a hotel, it is not a hostal.

My room was opposite the bathroom and it was the 1. on the floor. The whole night guests came , they were talking and using the bathroom. The door banged always and because they were talking I couldn’t sleep the whole night.

Honestly a wicked good experience. Felt extremely safe, everyone was very relaxed and respectful of each other. lockers in the room are huge, could fit probably two duffel bags in one and a section for electronics. Lock for it costs about 3 bucks if you don't have your own. Bar was cool, though it mentioned breakfast but I never saw food available, maybe you had to ask ahead of time. Walkable about 10 minutes to food and bars and train station is nearby. I traveled alone here as a woman and stayed in the co-ed dorm and felt really secure the entire time. Really recommend.

Not too impressed.

Alot of noice from guests(youth) kept me awake. Also the doors are very loud, so I would wake up when others went to the bathroom, or in and out of rooms in the middle of the night. Surprised that towels were not included. I had to rent towels to take a shower, and the shower had very low quality. Either too hot or too cold. The type you have to push the button every 10seconds to keep the water coming. Breakfast was great. And very nice that there was always someone in the reception 24/7. Kind personell.

Gutes Hostel, sehr nettes Personal, tolle Lage und recht sauber. Die Zimmer sind von der Größe völlig ausreichend. Schade fanden wir, dass Handtücher nicht inkl. waren, so mussten wir noch 7€ für zwei Handtücher zahlen. Hatten wir so noch nie erlebt.

Hostelin yeri, sakinliği çok güzeldi. Metroya çok yakın, şehrin pek çok yerine ve havaalanına ulaşımı kolay. Oda ve çarşaflar temizdi. Tuvaletler de her gün temizleniyordu. Çalışanlar kibardı. Kahvaltı güzeldi. Şehre erken vardım, bavulumu giriş saatine kadar ücretsiz olarak tuttular, teşekkür ederim. Sadece duştaki giderler çok iyi çalışmıyordu, su biriktiği için hijyen açısından rahat hissetmedim.

Sehr charmantes Hostel mit internationelem Flair. Ruhig und gut zu erreichen. Freundliches Personal. Beim Frühstück gäbe es noch Luft nach oben. Um 9.30 Uhr waren die Platten schon sehr leer.

Leider wurde bei der Buchung Einzelbetten angezeigt, vorgefunden hat man aber Etagenbetten. Leider alles sehr laut, sei es der Zimmerboden, Türen oder die Schubkästen unter den Betten. Sonntag morgens um 7.45 Uhr hat die Reinigungsperson im Nachbarzimmer gesaugt was dazu führte das einige davon wach wurden. Ich finde das muss nicht sein!

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen und ein Begrüßungsgetränk wurde mir auch angeboten. Das Zimmer/Bad war sauber, nicht unbedingt neuester Standard, aber da ist mir die Sauberkeit tatsächlich wichtiger. Es war allgemein sehr ruhig, ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Fenster zum Hof und ich konnte prima schlafen.

Die Unterkunft war fantastisch. Der Bau ist vermutlich aus den 20er Jahren, die Decken sind hoch und stuckverziert. Die Athmosphäre ist traumhaft. Das Zimmer war komplett in Ordnung. Das Personal war super freundlich, sprach verschiedene Sprachen. Die Lounge war klasse, Sofas, eine Bar, Bücherregale, sehr zum Wohlfühlen.
