This stay was a special Mother and Daughters Weekend getaway. One of my daughters is a seriously ill adult and needed a little comfort and escapism from hospitals and medical treatments. All she wanted was to float in a swimming pool, and a hot tub to relax her mind and body. Based on the stellar reviews for Goldberry Woods, I chose our stay there. We got a warm reception and a short tour of the property. Our room was beautiful and pristine. Eric reached out to me shortly after arrival and opened the pool for us later that day. The heated pool and hot tub were immaculately clean. Breakfast was amazingly scrumptious! Julie is a master at creating recipes that was so delicious yet healthy. Eric and Julie went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was exceptional. Goldberry Woods has exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Goldberry Woods!

Amazing first time experience!

Whether you stay for a night or a week, Eric and Julie will make sure you are well taken care of. This was a beautiful property, clean and comfortable, with impeccable customer service. They took the time to review everything with us. The breakfast the next morning was amazing. There is a hot tub and heated pool year round. The grounds are pretty with hiking and it's right on the Galien River. Such a nice space close to New Buffalo, St. Joseph, and Lake Michigan. They even provide bikes for free to ride to the lake a mile away!

We enjoyed our visit by walking the trails, visiting the baby chicks, soaking in the hot tub and the in room jacuzzi tub. There is a lot of room to roam. The breakfast was so good and we left stuffed. When we left we were already talking about our return. It was a great stay.

Everything I was hoping for and more!

We were so impressed and thankful to have stayed here. When we arrived we were immediately delighted by the evening appetizer (the most delicious cheese, homemade jam, and cracker pairing with a local white and red wine option). We only wished we had more time here to play one of the board games, do a puzzle, watch one of the many movie options, sit by the fire, play bags, or soak in the fabulously large in room tub! We did thoroughly enjoy a morning run and hike in the woods, a kayak ride down the river (we made it around a small clearing between a large downed tree), and a bike ride on one of the MANY bikes they had to choose from. Breakfast was fabulous! I wish I woke up to a meal like that everyday—the caramel sticky buns were perfect and I hope to make/recreate the egg rolled bake that they made. The owners are really wonderful, enjoyable to talk with, and they have obviously put so much time and effort into making this such a great place to stay! Their garden/orchard is beautiful! Their chicken coop is darling! I hope to return here soon with my family. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This property was just adorable. My husband and I booked this very last minute as a small weekend getaway and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived! The staff was EXTREMELY nice and made us feel right at home. I'm disappointed we didn't have more time to spend there but we will be planning a trip back to really take advantage of this great place! Home Away From Home

Our innkeepers could not have been more accommodating or welcoming! They made our stay feel like we in a home away from home. The breakfast was fabulous! I would love to go back and see it when everything is blooming. Love that there were room options that were larger with a second bed in a separate area allowing privacy for both of us. Appreciated the inclusion of the wine (2) hours!

Very laid back atmosphere. Everyone was very helpful. They gave good descriptions of places to eat dinner. The room was as spectacular as the pictures. Breakfast was amazing. You sit in family style eating and they cook the food right there in front of you. All was very fresh and delicious.
