"The inn was great it worked perfect for our family. Having 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths is great for 4 people. The owners had great snacks, coffee, Fiji water. Location was perfect close to shops, restaurants and the Gateway theater. We were here for a show that my daughter was in at the theater. I highly recommend the Belport inn"

"Blanket had a brown stain on it and when we told the desk all they did was take off the blanket so we had to call for a replacement. The shower water was hot for about 5 seconds than ran cold."

"The room was very clean and very big. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. Staff was very friendly at check-in. The location was very convenient right off the LIE. The area had restaurants, Starbucks, and a Walmart. There was an outdoor patio for grilling and a fire pit. The breakfast in the morning had a good selection -fruit, cereal, baked goods, yogurt and more."

"During US Open week, they charged us over $400 for a $105 room. Beds have thin blankets, one only. Shower barely worked. No maid service. It is a place to stay near the airport. The staff was very friendly."

"Great location, close to freeway and shopping. Rooms were quiet, breakfast was good (two kinds of waffle batter!). Close to Islip airport."

"Place is a dump but clean. I paid a lot of money because everything else was booked. It is the kind of place you meet a lady of the night. Guys were dinking beer outside at 1AM There was a cop sitting in the parking lot at 7am. To get key had to go into a plexiglass room that says “ only one person allowed at at time for “privacy “” BUT the room was clean, looked clean and smelled clean. Literally every other hotel on Long Island was booked Don’t stay here unless you have to"

"Rooms seem newly renovated. Very clean and spacious, TV offers Netflix and such. Only downside is you only get 2 pillows which are so thin."

"Super friendly staff! Cozy B&B feel. Great location, walk to town or train station! LIRR and Pines super convenient. Amazing authentic chef made-to-order breakfast!! (And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

"Location was excellent. Bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable Parking was adequate Extremely minimal toiletries. Not good for some one traveling by plane Rug in lobby was raised up. Possible tripping hazard .Very old furniture in rooms Outdoor Pool area was only open from noon till 8 pm. Check in process was difficult for older adults Only one coffee cup in the room Air conditioning was hard to regulate for cooling"

"We reserved a room with a Queen bed and a sofa bed. Sofa bed was not sturdy, my husband had to sleep on the sofa. The Queen bed was not a "Queen" but rather a double. I called the front desk and was told it was Expieda booked me in an Accessible room. Total BS! A Queen is a Queen no matter the type of room. Two very uncomfortable nights and $900 later, never will stay there again."

"I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families. I reserved a non-smoking room, but when I entered, it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and other odors that made it unacceptable. The room did not appear to have been maintained as advertised. The common areas also felt uncomfortable. There were individuals loitering in the hallways and stairwells, and the hallways smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The overall environment did not feel clean or family-friendly. I...

"I was there for 1 night and didn't see not one waiters at all. After losing 3,700 ."

"We had a series of small issues...a phone that didn't work, an AC unit that kept switching to heat, a hotel sign that didn't work, causing us to drive by the property twice the first night ( the hotel is set off on a side road rather than on the street in it's address. The major problem was a severe injury due to the mattress not being set correctly on it's metal base, so the edge of the brace stuck out, causing major bruising. Allof these issues, I believe were the result of carelessness."
