"This was exactly what we needed on our drive up to Acadia National Park. A clean, non-expensive hotel room to stay the night. We got delayed on our trip and the office left instructions on how to get the keys and get into our rooms, including a well drawn map. I'm taking off 1 star simply b/c there were only 2 towels in each room even though the reservation had 4 people in each room. I'm sure Hotels put 2 towels in each room as they turn them over, but it's a pet peeve of mine that someone...

"The room was very outdated/furniture was worn and not at all what it appeared on the website. It is a two star motel at best. The room had a carpet and musty smell from no AC. The staff were helpful and friendly when I mentioned this."

"Waking up to that view was amazing. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed that. The staff are absolutely wonderful and couldn't be friendlier. Some of us stayed at the Inn proper, while a couple of our friends stayed at the cottage down by the water—a phenomenal place, by the way—and we really enjoyed being able to go between both venues. Will stay there again."
