"I was very sceptical when I saw the neighborhood and the outside of the hotel,but once I checked in I was pleasantly surprised. Recently renovated rooms,very nice. The downside was the tissue which wasn't even 1ply and completely see through and even though the doors had a deadbolt, the extra lock at the top would have been a bonus. Bathroom was small but again big enough for me.It was quiet and peaceful."

"Lovely hotel...calm, quiet and clean. Downton Baton Rouge isn't really a busy and noisy city, and that is perfect for me. The hotel is very clean, modern and very well put together. The restaurant, Passe, is in transition to a new concept, menu, etc. and that's OK. I had breakfast there a few times and it was great. Restaurant staff and front desk staff were great. My favorite place to stay when I'm in Baton Rouge."

"Our stay was awesome, thanks to our wonderful staff, Chrissy and Brandon. We rented through a third party who totally messed up our reservations but Chrissy and Brandon went above and beyond to handle the issue. I’m reserving for a week in a couple of weeks just because of these 2. Room was nice and clean. Highly recommend this property!!!!"
