"Lovely location. Ground floor Queen room extremely small - no room for luggage as the bed took up almost the whole room. Bathroom only suitable for one person at a time. Overlooked the buggy garage so had to keep the blind closed. Would definitely request and pay for a larger room if we ever stayed again. Staff were friendly though and the terrace for meals overlooking the golf course was beautiful. "

"The recent renovations are the reason we choose for this stay. The lobby, restaurant are all beautifully done. We stayed in a freshly renovated suite. Rooms are very large and has a nice outlook of trees. We were met at entrance by welcoming staff who showed us the hotel and room. But as a 5 star hotel, there are lots of things below our expectations. On the 2nd day of our stay, we hang the label to clean the room in the morning. "It is a great place to host group functions or having a group golf weekend getaway. Professional customer services. However, the place is a bit outdated and a refurbishment would bring back the glory. "

"Room was very small with creaky floors and very noisy overall. Elm balcony room has a shared balcony which wasn’t specified so I had people talking and hanging outside my room and could see inside my room. This is expensive hotel and I would have expected better rooms but given it’s and old building I guess that’s too be expected. Overpriced for what it is. Staff and service were excellent so that was positive. "
