"A beautiful spot in the forest, although just a bit far from the sights in Nara. The staff was lovely and the room quite comfortable, by Western standards for a Japanese room (although the futons were by far the hardest and most uncomfortable of the three ryokans we visited). The meals lived up to the reviews, beautifully presented true kaiseki."

"The property seems to be recently updated, it is modern, and clean. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...

"The staff are fabulous, very attentive and customer focused. We had an outdoor private bath which was wonderful and highly recommended. Our one complaint is the beds (futon) they were very thin and hard. We did not sleep well. "

"Wonderful hotel. Great location, lovely rooms, self check in is such an easy and wonderful way to operate. One of my favorite hotels in Japan. Will be back again. Can’t recommend enough. "

"It was great in all aspects. Room is quite spacious, clean, and cozy. I didn't experience any noise issue.
In the same building, convient store is just 1st floor, and subway(keihan) is undeground. It's located in safe and not crowded area. It's close to Umeda, and Namba. Staffs are all friendly and nice. Will come back!!!"
"Great area, lots of dining and shops below hotel. Rooms were spacious, clean and staff was helpful and courteous. Only negative was that breakfast was expensive and not worth the money, better off getting something to eat elsewhere. "
"Forza is one of a kind, unique and a fabulous hotel. It felt like at home!!!
Truly enjoyed the massaging/shower, special attention to cleanliness, amenities provided. Staff were gracious and caring. Will definitely visit again "
