Liked: Staff & service
The 2 pools were not clean.
Food is average and over priced.
Massage is super average and not worth spending 80$ for the session.
Breakfast was a set menu and not buffet as mentioned.
However, the place is very calm and relaxing.
The place is magical. Scenery is beautiful. The only downside is that the food is not so great although breakfast was excellent. Initially we had planned to explore the area, like visiting Der El Kamar and the Barouk Cedar reserve. We opted to stay in Bkerzay the three days we were there.
Excellent property, well appointed and maintained. Staff in general are welcoming, have positive attitude, though they all need to be trained on hospitality principles, based on out of the box service mentality and generosity. Coming from a hotelier background myself, I could see that no one goes the extra mile to make your stay more pleasant, (by the book) soldier like behavior doesn't work on this highly competitive industry. My advice to the owners and management, Please seek professional hospitality trainers, that will make Bkerzay more appealing. Good Luck and keep up the good work.
C’est la 4eme fois que mon mari et moi séjournons à Bkerzay; l’enchantement est toujours le même.
Tout est parfait : lieu, service, prestations proposées, équipe …
The room is very small , such below standards, no closet, no table, no chair, the bathroom too small as well.

The place is quite nice, trying to preserve the historical architecture of a mountain environment that is also eco friendly. Yet, it is quite overrated and far from delivering on the set expectations. The prices are too expensive to their low service quality and terrible food. We have tried almost the entire menu. The mezza was acceptable, while the rest was dreadful. When u charge $15 for an angus burger and what you get is a typical home burger for a price of 3$. Over cooked and even when we ordered another one medium cooked, it was almost the same. The chef on the grill had the same issue with the chicken, kafta and steak. The breakfast was too simple and the pastries seems to be reheated. All in all, i personally would not recommend this place to my friends and would surely not come again.
All the experience was great 👍
The cadre, weather ... the food and the great hospitality
It’s not our first time neither the last, we will do it again and again
Bkerzay is a beautifully designed little cozy rooms on top of mountain in a small village called Bkerzay. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Great pottery classes. Delicious freashly prepared food. Hiking trails. We truly enjoyed this exquisite one of a kind experience. Getting in touch with mother nature at its finest. Bkerzay is simply a sanctuary for travelers.
Went there with my wife and son and had a wonderful time. The place has an excellent view, a cozy pool, nice architecture. Wont harm adding a mini fridge in the rooms though..
The idea of the place is nice however the stay in that place was terrible :
1- the food is very good but a bit over priced
2- the stay in the suites or so called houses is terrible : our suite was not clean at all : Rooms contain insects and “more” ; bathroom not acceptable at all ( not clean , full of odors and with terrible maintenance ...
In general, could be recommended to have a lunch only ; and spend some Afternoon time around but again within a high over priced place ...
Highly recommended to anyone visiting Lebanon. It's a piece of heaven on earth. The only downside in this charming property is its restaurant. The food can use some improvement. Everything else is absolutely magical.
