Overall my stay was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a mini refrigerator but it needs time to become cold, so make sure that you leave a key card in the electric slot otherwise it will turn off.
I could not adjust the thermostat in my room, so my room was hot. My final night I got smart and opened a window (I was on the 7th floor).
The staff was most helpful whether it was checking in, helping me with a taxi or helping me with directions to the Daxing Airport Express Train Line.
The hotel is about 3km from XiHongmen Train Station. Normal daytime fare is 13rmb, but it seems you need to have some kind of code, unless you call a Didi (Chinese Uber). Also, if you arrive at night be careful, I was charged 40rmb.
I highly recommend having someone help you set up your phone so you can use the bus system or Didi.
The nearby mall, Livat, is quite nice with many nice shops, restaurants and an IKEA.
It's best to take bus 474 between the hotel and the mall/train station. The stop is Fuxing Hua.... Remember to cross the street for the bus running in the opposite direction.
From the hotel to the bus stop takes about 10 minutes. Turn left out of the hotel and then left onto the sidewalk . Continue straight until you reach the traffic light and guess what, turn left again and the bus stop for 474 is about 100 feet.
The breakfast buffet is nice. There is a mixture of Western and Chinese food, coffee, tea, juice, milk.
