"Beautiful setting. We were the only ones we saw walking around the property in the early evenings. The Happy Hour self-serve charcuterie and cash bar on the property were very convenient and we enjoyed sitting along the river in the provided seating both njghts. We dined at the property restaurant last night and had a delicious meal. The Lake House breakfast was very substantial each morning, with lots of options. The rooms were quiet, clean, and had all of the amenities. We appreciated the availability of umbrellas and flashlights so we could walk the trails to our late dinner reservation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place and hope to return for another visit. Unfortunately, we were unable to partake in any formal site tours because we had booked off-site Fossil digging excursions both days which kept us out past the last tour. We did enjoy doing self-guided tours of the beautiful grounds."
