"Hotel is centrally located and easy access to boardwalk. Rooms seemed like they have been recently updated and are very comfortable. View of water from some of the rooms which is nice. "

"The heart stone Inn was located a block away from the Atlantic superstore, which was convenient. The hotel was reasonably priced compared to some hotels in Halifax and easy to get to from the airport."

"We were traveling with a pet, and booked here to be in striking distance of downtown Halifax with a short drive. Staff were cheerful and efficient, rooms were clean and up-to-date. We did not use the pool, but many families staying here were enjoying it immensely. We liked having safe places to walk a dog, including a small pocket park diagonal to the hotel, and a nice variety of walkable restaurants (less than 100 meters away!) in the adjacent shopping center. Would definitely stay here again as a base for a Halifax visit. "
