"Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed. The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh. "

"Lovely, spacious room with a great view of the river. Unfortunately the room was ridiculously warm, even with air con on as low as it would go. Mould in the shower, and the carpet didnt seem to hsvr been vacuumed properly. "

"Greeted by very friendly staff who then showed me to my room, drink selection good but I didn't eat there so can't judge that, I will say there is a broken window in the room but it doesn't affect noise or sleep and there was two pieces of broken glass on the table, but it's a lovely place 100% would stay there again "
