The in-room entertainment was lacking (older TV, basic channels, no Netflix/streaming platforms). More outlets and/or charging ports would have been appreciated. "We had a great stay at The Dana. The property is beautiful and my kid loved riding her tricycle along the boardwalk. The pools were nicely heated, warm but not gross warm. The pools next to the restaurant has an 2.5 foot depth at one end so my little ones could stand and swim around. Great time."

"4 year old had fun playing on the sand, making s’mores in the rooms fire pit, renting bikes in front of resort. The pool isn’t big but it wasn’t overly crowded. Definitely a family friendly place to stay. "

"Although there appeared to be ample vacant rooms they initially gave us a room next to their laundry room. It was VERY noisy through the wall. When I requested a room change away from noise they handled it reluctantly as if it was a big burden. I would not return to that motel."

They have their own parking structures but you have to pay for parking..i almost paid for ours but waited to see the parking spot first. Good thing i didnt! The other cars were over the line in what would have been our spot. Good thing we found one on the street!"

"Housekeeping at this location deserves real recognition — they are wonderful individuals who work extremely hard, and my room was cleaned to a very high standard. The morning and night clerks were also consistently kind and helpful, and breakfast offered good options. Unfortunately, the rest of my stay was disappointing. "We had a great stay here! Beds were comfy, location is near the swap meet which was nice. Only issues were that when we checked in, I guess they overbooked certain rooms. So everyone who had an upgraded King room was given a standard double bed. The shower would clog and the ice machine didn’t work. The TV and the in room phone also did not work at all, and when we tried to call the office using our personal phones, the line was disconnected. Also, the power kept going out! "

"On the second day, there were cockroaches in the bathroom and we found a spider in our bed. Hotel smells a lot of marijuana and there were a lot of "interesting" characters wandering around the property. Would not recommend for families with younger kids. The front desk staff were nice and helpful however."
