"Located near the Wright Memorial and convenient to lots of food options. The beach was great. The staff was so kind and helpful. There were 2 pools and plenty of stuff to do on the grounds. The breakfast was good but they ran out of food each day, so go early. Would definitely stay here again."

"They were misleading about the ocean view. I thought I’d have a wonderful view but instead looked directly into a dune. If I looked up and over there was some water. I called to ask if I could be moved to à higher floor. The gentleman replied that Hilton certified it as an ocean view so have a nice day. And there were no other rooms available. Thought I’d watch tv then, but the living room tv did not work. Disappointing stay"

"I stayed here in the early 1980s, when I was in my early teens. It has been upgraded since then, but still provided that wonderful nostalgic feeling I had when I first visited the Outer Banks! I wanted my kids to experience this as well, so we booked a room for several days. We stayed in a courtyard room, which was still very quiet and comfortable, despite being next to the entrance drive.
